Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Corporate Accountant to join our growing finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with foundational accounting knowledge who are eager to gain hands-on experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Input vendor invoices into NetSuite and ensure accurate coding and documentation
• Set up and process wire transfers and other payment methods
• Maintain the administration of Concur, including user setup and importing data into NetSuite
• Extract data from TMW to support accounting and operational reporting
• Perform other related administrative or accounting duties as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Working toward a CPA designation or already CPA-designated is considered a strong asset
• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite , Concur , and TMW is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
